The Borromean Islands take their name from the prestigious Borromeo family, one of Italy’s noble families. This group of islands primarily consists of Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola dei Pescatori. Notably, Isola dei Pescatori is renowned for its ancient village characterized by narrow alleyways and traditional multi-story houses with spacious balconies used for fish drying. The sharp bell tower of the Church of San Vittore is a distinctive feature of this location, making it a wonderful choice for hosting religious weddings.
