Theirs is a truly deep bond, a love that bases its values on family, those relationships that have always been present in their lives and that today, despite the distance from their loved ones, remain indispensable. For this reason, their desire was to live their wedding day as a big and intimate party, in one of the most beautiful places of Lake Maggiore, the Borromean Islands, surrounded by the affection of their families.
Isola dei Pescatori and Hotel Verbano, the perfect wedding venues for your wedding
It was the evocative landscape, the magical atmosphere and the exclusive places of Lake Maggiore that enchanted the newlyweds from the very first moment, winning their hearts and convincing them to choose this setting as the venue for their wedding..
So, from Geneva they arrived on its green lake shores for an emotional ceremony with a civil rite at the town hall of Stresa, located on the Isola dei Pescatori and celebrated personally by its mayor.
A touching moment that involved the guests… wonderful moments that made all present live part of the Colombian traditions thanks to the use of colored maracas at the moment of the declarations. A surprising and certainly unusual gesture to celebrate the couple compared to the classic throwing of rice.
And to finish, the celebrations came to life in the halls of the charming and exclusive Hotel Verbano, with a reception with a breathtaking view.
Bright color combinations for a romantic Swiss wedding on Lake Maggiore
The bride’s desire was to add a touch of essentiality in the arrangements for her wedding, without missing the joy of bright colors combined with the simplicity of nature. Hence her motto: “Less is more”, a concept that we find in every single detail of the wedding project.
Starting from the bouquet, bright and decomposed, made through a combination of flowers with impact nuances.
Yellow and blue were the predominant colors of the entire floral arrangement, shades that have represented perfectly the personality of the bride and groom. A palette that has allowed the creation of a mise en place minimal and impact, recreating an intimate and convivial atmosphere in front of the sweet Isola Madre.
To cheer the guests during the evening, the rhythmic South American music of the band “I Diablo Huma”.
